100% Belated Birthday

This is 100% belated! BUTTTT it is still a thoughtful post. My mother's birthday was last week, September 15th. I love her so much and I cannot even begin to tell you all that she has and STILL does for me! I am married and I still get cute treats, notes, or fruit on my door! Since Matson & I have been married my mom's thoughtfulness has been magnified even more than before. She has helped me decorate our apartment, told me recipes or baking advice over the phone, sewed a kitchen cafe curtain for me, and has even shared bananas from Costco cause we both are only food shopping for two and those bananas just brown waaaay too fast and both our husbands must be sick of banana bread so now we share! I have so much to learn from this lady. She is the neatest lady ever...best cook, the best baker, best gardener, best advice giver, best interior designer, best mom, best hostess, best friend, best wife, and just best everything! This makes it sound like I am selling her....BUT i am not she is ALL mine & I am so LUCKY!
Matson & Sista A super pumped to be celebrating Mom's Bday!

Advice Needed: So I am fortunate to share September birthday month with my Mom. My birthday is coming up next week. Anybody have some advice on what to do for my birthday? And where is a fun restaurant I could choose to go eat for my birthday dinner(In Utah County)? Leave a comment below :)

1 month anniversary

yipee for me!
well i guess...yipee for us!
today marks one month since matson and i were sealed. i will never forget that day and how special & fun it was! i hate to be so PDA but i already love matson so much more than our wedding day, i can't even imagine how much i will love him when we are sitting on our lazy boy chairs with dentures in our teeth, while watching our grandchildren play with their paper thin i-pods at age 91. well if matson is reading this...i love you mats & life is so much better with you in it!

dentist disaster

this morning i went to the dentist for 72 minutes. and man it was horrible. i usually do not mind the dentist, but today it was my first truly horrible dentist visit. this is nothing against my wonderful dentist (and bishop). i walked in, sat down, was numbed all up, was given the laughing gas tube, and then left in the chair for a good 9 minutes, without the hygienist and dentist, while the numbing settled in. these 9 minutes are the minutes i would like to expound on.
  • minute #1: put on my headphones to watch the t.v. screen up in the ceiling
  • minute #2: started watching a classic episode of "Home Improvement"
  • minute #3: laughed at a comment the character Tim said on his Home Improvement show, realizing my right side of my smile remained straight rather than turned up.
  • minute #4: my hand holding the t.v. remote started feeling fuzzy & numb
  • minute #5: my feet, legs, arms started feeling fuzzy & numb
  • minute #6: i gagged in my mouth (not pleasant)
  • minute #7: i stood up out of my chair, detached the laughing gas tube, took out the t.v. headphones, and would of fallen over if there was not a counter top there to catch me.
  • minute #8: i threw up in the very small 1 ft. by 1 ft. round sink, while the dentist was talking to his patient right there (embarassing)
  • minute #9: i sat back down in my chair with a not so yummy taste and throw up plastered to the right side of my mouth, that i did not know was there because it was so numb
apparently i threw up because of the laughing gas (laughing gas should not be called laughing gas because it is CLEARLY not funny) and because i had not eaten anything prior going to the dentist. the rest of my trip was good, the filling did not hurt and went well thanks to my wonderful dentist! But sadly, i now will be much more nervous to go to the dentist and i will no longer be answering yes when the hygienist asks "would you like laughing gas?"

the birth of a blog

Wellp...here i...a freshly YOUNG married girl....am birthing a baby blog. today my blog was born. i never thought i would birth a blog. i always thought blogging was for cute little families to show off how adorable and hilarious their children are or for super bomb diggity creative people to share their creations and ideas with the world. well, i definitely do not have children AND i definitely am not a super bomb diggity creative person soooo therefore i am not sure if anyone will read it. oh well! it does not matter, as long as it entertains me, right? we will see what comes. enjoy reading about mine and matson's (my handsome, buff, brand new, gentleman of a husband) life adventures.
